Grants - a guide from Organic Energy

The number and size of grants available for wood pellet (biomass) and solar heating /hot water systems are subject to national and local availability. So this guide cannot be too specific as grants are withdrawn or introduced on a regular basis.

However, currently grants are available for almost all types of wood pellet heating or solar thermal heating or hot water system: domestic or commercial. The Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme - RHI

The Renewable Heat Incentive is a government scheme for England, Scotland and Wales from the Department of Energy and Climate Change, offering a financial incentive to adopting renewable technologies for the generation of heat used in domestic homes, public buildings, businesses and factories.
