Automatic Ash Compression System

ÖkoFEN's impressive de-ashing system just got better. The automated wood-pellet heating system previously needed de-ashing an average of only four times a year thanks to the boiler burner's automated ash shakedown system. But with the new automatic ash compression unit, de-ashing is a much cleaner process which is normally required only once every six months or more. This longer interval also affords the possibility of having your ash collected at the same time as your fuel is delivered - a truly zero maintenance system.

The new ash compression system works by feeding ash from the wood pellet burner to a small ash box situated alongside the boiler. The box is completely sealed meaning that you can remove it and carry it away with no spillage or dust, and is small enough to be carried with one hand.
